Best bagels around. Friendly atmosphere.

Being from New York originally, I am particular with two things specifically - pizza and BAGELS. This is the closest to home bagel I have found here in Michigan. And the staff is great so it is always a pleasure! A local favorite for my family and office staff.

It used to be great! Still is good! Jewish cheeseburger all the way! But due to price increase, unenthusiastic employees, weird policies and the early only hours out of my regular commute, I rarely go now but when I do it's a special treat. Also a must visit when I have visitors in town.My biggest gripe is that only certain sandwiches (unmarked) don't count towards the free sandwich card and it is defended whole heart and head.But, there isn't a better bagel shop for miles and miles and miles. So to in, grab your favorite sandwich and maybe a stamp on your card then buy a few speciality cream cheeses and bagelss to go for the rest of the week.

Full disclosure: I’m from New York. Back when bagels weren’t a national thing. I know a good bagel and this is DEFINITELY a good bagel. Perfectly authentic and consistent. You have to try these bagels for yourself!

If you haven't eaten here, yet, I need you to go now. These aren't some generic, crappy chain bagels. They are chewy and pillowy inside, lightly crisp on the outside and totally delicious all the way through just like bagels were intended to be. There is a flavor for every palate and on Saturdays, there's even a pretzel bagel that is simply to die for! Not to mention their array of amazingly creamy and fresh cream cheese flavors, made in house. Oh, and the coffee! If you like a solid cup of Kona or Jamaican blue mountain they have you covered (and then some), but if you love flavored coffee like I do, I IMPLORE you, go now! Not only do their flavored coffees smell delicious, but they actually taste like they smell, which is no small feat! I HIGHLY suggest mixing the Traverse City Cherry with the Mackinaw Island Fudge. Wow, so much wow.

The bagels here are the best tasting bagels I have ever had. They were nice and soft on the outside but still had that nice exterior crust on them. Great flavor to them as well. The sandwiches are amazing and they load you up on the meat for the price. Definitely worth a trip to here

Called in trying to place an order on Thursday, November 8th and as I was asking questions, the lady on the phone just couldn't be bothered. Bagels were pretty good but lots of places have good bagels - you would expect a local place to have great customer service.

Always a great selection of bagles but also have the deli option too. Specialty coffees are available along with all the normal beverages.

So nice to have a neighborhood bagel shop! My favorite sandwiches are the Jewish cheeseburger, the bagel BLT, and ham & Swiss with jalapeno schmear. I really love the taco jalapeno bagels, egg bagels, pumpernickel bagels, and cinnamon sugar bagels. Thanks for being here, Mannie's!
